Senior Architect | Multi-Residential | Various Project Typologies

A well-established and highly regarded architecture and design practice is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join its Sydney studio.
With a strong pipeline of secured work across the multi-residential sector, this role offers the opportunity to lead major projects from early design through to construction, within a stable, design-led practice that values leadership, technical capability, and long-term career progression.
This position would suit a Senior Architect who is confident managing complex projects, mentoring teams, and working closely with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
About the Role
This is a senior, delivery-focused role working primarily on multi-residential developments of varying scale and complexity.
You will take responsibility for design leadership, project coordination, and delivery outcomes, working across all project stages. The role involves managing documentation quality, overseeing consultant coordination, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with planning, regulatory, and commercial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multi-residential projects from concept through to construction
- Manage and coordinate Development Applications, including DA, SSDA, and ADG compliance
- Oversee project teams, resourcing, and delivery programmes
- Ensure compliance with BCA, Australian Standards, and Council requirements
- Coordinate consultants and manage stakeholder relationships
- Maintain documentation quality using Revit-based BIM workflows
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to project teams
- Act as a key point of contact for clients
Skills & Experience
- Australian architectural registration (NSW preferred)
- 10+ years’ experience within the Australian / NSW market
- Proven experience delivering multi-residential projects in NSW
- Strong working knowledge of DA, SSDA, and Apartment Design Guidelines
- Advanced proficiency in Revit
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid understanding of project development and construction processes
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
