Due to an exciting pipeline of major developments, our client is seeking a Principal Architect to provide visionary leadership, drive design excellence across the studio, and represent the practice at the highest levels with clients and key stakeholders.

In the role of Principal Architect, you will be responsible for:

Setting the design vision and strategic direction across the studio’s major projects

Leading client engagement and managing high-level relationships with developers, consultants, and stakeholders

Driving creative excellence, innovation, and design quality across all project stages
-
Leading and inspiring design teams while providing mentorship and fostering professional growth
-
Overseeing key projects to ensure alignment with architectural intent, technical standards, and program requirements

Representing the practice at design reviews, awards submissions, and industry events
-
Supporting business development through client relationships, project pitches, and thought leadership
-
Balancing high-level design oversight with strategic studio leadership responsibilities
We are looking for someone with:

Bachelor or Master of Architecture
-
15+ years of professional experience with a proven track record in multi-residential or mixed-use projects
-
Strong design vision and the ability to drive innovation at a strategic level
-
Proven leadership experience managing senior teams and complex projects simultaneously
-
Confidence and experience in client-facing roles, including leading presentations and negotiations
-
Excellent technical and documentation knowledge, with REVIT proficiency
-
Strategic thinking, exceptional communication, and stakeholder management skills
-
Full working rights in Australia (Citizenship or PR)
-
Currently residing in Sydney with local market experience
