We are currently seeking someone who has experience running medium to larger scale projects.
About the Role:
Role Type: Permanent Full-time
Location: Brisbane
Experience: 8+ years’ post-graduate experience within an architectural or landscape architectural practice
Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia (PR or Citizenship)
You’ll play a key role in supporting the Brisbane studio across a diverse project portfolio, contributing your expertise from concept through to delivery.
In the role of Associate Landscape Architect, we expect you to take ownership and lead with confidence.
You will be responsible for guiding projects from concept through to delivery ensuring design intent is upheld while balancing technical, commercial, and client expectations. Acting as a key point of contact, you will build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to repeat business and the studio’s reputation.
You will bring a strategic mindset to project delivery—overseeing design quality, mentoring junior team members, and fostering a collaborative studio environment. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines, will be essential.
We’re looking for someone who is not only technically capable but also design-driven—someone who can contribute innovative ideas, challenge conventions, and elevate project outcomes. A strong understanding of local planning frameworks, documentation standards, and construction processes is expected, alongside clear and confident communication skills.

In the role of an Associate Landscape Architect, we are looking for someone who has:

Proven experience in a similar design-focused role with advanced working knowledge of discipline design principles and practices

Established project management skills resulting in the successful delivery of projects

Developed team leadership skills

Knowledge of building materials, construction methods and applicable codes, standards and regulations of the design and construction of projects

Advanced proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite 3D, Microsoft Suite, AMS and New Forma

Advanced design and documentation skills across all project stages

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Passion for delivering high-quality, innovative design solutions

Commitment to ongoing education and improvement. Staying up to date on industry knowledge, standards, training and actively seeks mentoring from senior staff

Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Design / Landscape Architecture

AILA registration (preferred )

Minimum of 8 years’ post-graduate experience within a design practice

A proactive attitude

Must be currently based in Brisbane or locally in Australia with local Australian project experience
