You’ve interviewed with three different companies and still haven’t heard back. At some point, you have to ask yourself: what’s the common denominator?

It’s not always about having the “right” experience. There are a few things worth looking at:
Experience/skillset – Does your experience align with what the role requires?
Your portfolio – Is it up to standard? Does it show enough of your work and clearly explain your involvement? Have a well presented hard copy ready for your interview.
Presentation – First impressions matter. Is your overall presentation professional and appropriate?
Preparation – Have you researched the company, their work and the people interviewing you?
Your resume – Is it accurate, current and tailored to the role?
Punctuality – Were you on time?
Your demeanour – Were you friendly, engaged, polite and professional?
