As their newly appointed Senior Associate, you will play a key role in the delivery and review of architectural base build projects, working closely with senior leadership, project teams, consultants and contractors. You will bring strong technical knowledge across structural coordination, façades, waterproofing, shop drawing reviews and construction detailing, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard from documentation through to construction.
This role is ideal for a design-led but delivery-focused professional who enjoys problem solving, mentoring others and working across technically complex projects where documentation quality directly supports successful project outcomes.

In the role as Senior Associate – Base Build Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Lead and support the delivery of architectural base build projects across commercial and mixed-use developments
- Review architectural documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, coordination and buildability
- Provide technical guidance across structural coordination, façades, waterproofing, construction detailing and shop drawing reviews
- Work closely with consultants, contractors, clients and internal project teams throughout project delivery
- Review and coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, construction details and consultant documentation
- Support project teams through documentation, tender and construction phases
- Mentor, guide and support junior and mid-level staff across technical documentation and delivery processes
- Apply a pragmatic and detail-oriented approach to problem solving across complex project challenges
- Ensure documentation aligns with design intent, compliance requirements and successful built outcomes
- Contribute to internal quality standards, technical knowledge sharing and project delivery systems
- Support senior leadership in managing project outcomes, timelines and team coordination
To be successful in the role, you will require:
- Minimum of 10-15+ years’ experience in architectural practice
- Substantial experience delivering and reviewing architectural base build projects
- Experience across medium to large-scale commercial or mixed-use developments is highly regarded
- Strong technical knowledge across structure, façades, waterproofing, construction detailing and shop drawing reviews
- Strong understanding of how documentation underpins successful built outcomes
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or supporting junior and mid-level staff, or a strong interest in developing others
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and pragmatic in your approach to problem solving
- Design-led but delivery-focused mindset
- Strong communication, coordination and consultant management skills
- Ability to review documentation with accuracy, commercial awareness and technical clarity
- Open to varied career profiles with strong technical delivery capability
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a senior project team
