BIM Coordinator | ArchiCAD | Sydney or Melbourne

Mega Recruitment is working with a successful, award-winning international architectural practice seeking a BIM Coordinator to join their well known studio.
This is a design-focused practice with a strong reputation for well-structured systems, clear procedures and a collaborative studio culture. The team operates within a well-established BIM environment and places value on maintaining consistent workflows and model standards across projects.
The role will support the BIM Manager as the studio continues to grow, assisting project teams with BIM queries, maintaining project models and helping manage day-to-day digital workflow support. The position will also include some IT helpdesk responsibilities alongside BIM support.
Applicants with experience using BIM authoring tools such as ArchiCAD who are interested in developing further into BIM coordination or digital practice are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide BIM helpdesk support to internal project teams and the wider user group
- Assist with model audits, troubleshooting and model maintenance across active projects
- Support the application of BIM documentation standards and template compliance
- Provide assistance at Project Model Manager level when required
- Assist with induction sessions for new staff, including BIM systems and workflows
- Support internal training sessions on modelling standards and BIM workflows
- Monitor and report on current BIM systems and usage across the studio
- Participate in global BIM coordination meetings
- Assist with software updates and platform rollouts
- Support pilot projects and testing of new workflows or tools
- Track updates and changes across CAD and BIM platforms
- Assist in maintaining internal BIM documentation and guide notes
- Provide low-level IT helpdesk support alongside BIM related queries
Skills & Experience
- Experience working with BIM authoring platforms such as ArchiCAD
- Experience within an architectural or professional services environment preferred
- Clear communication skills and professional phone manner
- Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritise tasks
- Problem-solving approach and willingness to investigate technical issues
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary and culturally diverse workplace
