The Role
A well-regarded architecture and interiors studio is seeking an Interior Designer to join its Brisbane team. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects across retail, hospitality, hotel, and multi-residential sectors, working within a collaborative and design-focused environment.
This position will suit a designer who enjoys balancing creativity with technical delivery and is comfortable working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve strong project outcomes.
About the Opportunity
Working as part of the interiors team, you will contribute to projects from early concept development through to documentation and delivery. You’ll be involved in developing interior design solutions that respond to both client needs and project requirements, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, functionality, and buildability.
The role provides the opportunity to grow your technical capability while continuing to develop a strong design portfolio across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Develop interior design concepts across retail, hospitality, hotel, and residential projects

Prepare and coordinate interior documentation and specifications

Assist in material, finishes, and FF&E selection and coordination

Collaborate with architects, consultants, and suppliers throughout project delivery

Support the delivery of projects across all stages within agreed timeframes

Work within Revit-based workflows to maintain documentation quality
Skills & Experience
-
Minimum 3+ years’ professional experience in interior design

Background working on retail, hospitality, or residential projects preferred

Proficiency in Revit with a working knowledge of BIM workflows

Strong design capability supported by a well-presented portfolio

Clear communication and presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team environment
