Senior Architect | Residential & Mixed-Use

An established and growing architectural practice is seeking a Senior Architect to join its Brisbane studio. This role has been created due to a strong pipeline of secured work and will suit an architect with solid local experience who is ready to take on greater responsibility across project delivery.
The practice works across residential and mixed-use developments and is known for a practical, well-structured approach to design and documentation. This is a hands-on role offering long-term stability and clear opportunity for progression.
This position sits within the core delivery team and involves managing projects from design development through to construction. You’ll be responsible for coordinating consultants, resolving technical issues, and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and within scope.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership while also mentoring junior team members and contributing to the ongoing improvement of studio processes.
Key Responsibilities

Manage residential and mixed-use projects across multiple stages

Coordinate consultants and external stakeholders

Prepare and oversee high-quality architectural documentation

Ensure compliance with Queensland planning controls, NCC, and Australian Standards

Support project programming, resourcing, and delivery

Provide guidance and technical support to project teams

Maintain documentation quality within a Revit-based environment
Skills & Experience

7+ years’ experience working within the Australian market

Strong background in residential or multi-residential projects

Demonstrated experience delivering projects through documentation and construction

Proficient in Revit with a sound understanding of BIM workflows

Solid knowledge of construction methods and local regulations

Confident communicator with the ability to manage consultants and clients

Capable of working independently while supporting a collaborative studio culture
