This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of Australia’s most prestigious architectural practices, with a national footprint and award-winning reputation across diverse sectors. My client is expanding their Perth office and seeking a highly experienced Senior Associate Architect to work on significant defence projects.
The successful candidate will lead defence project teams and oversee complete project delivery from initial concept to final completion. You’ll have the opportunity to work on major defence initiatives whilst being part of a nationally recognised practice with established expertise across Australia.
If you’re an experienced architect with 10-15+ years experience including defence projects, strong leadership skills, and advanced Revit proficiency, this role offers exceptional career development within a nationally recognised practice.
Essential Requirements:
- 10-15+ years professional experience in architecture
- Defence project experience essential
- Advanced Revit proficiency essential
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture and registration
- Experience managing projects from SD through to CA
- Strong understanding of technical documentation and detailing
- Australian citizenship essential
- Strong leadership and project management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee schematic design through to construction documentation
- Coordinate design development across all project phases
- Manage consultant coordination and technical integration
- Lead design teams through DD, CD, and CA phases
- Ensure design intent is maintained through construction delivery
- Coordinate with structural, services, and specialist consultants
- Liaise directly with clients and project stakeholders
- Drive technical resolution and maintain design quality
