The role will see you take ownership of a significant aged care project that currently has Development Approval in place and is moving into Design Development.
You will be responsible for carrying the project through DD, detailed documentation and Issued for Construction (IFC), with the potential to remain involved during the construction phase.
This position will suit a technically strong Architect who is confident in Revit, consultant coordination and architectural documentation, and who enjoys taking projects through the delivery stages.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the project through Design Development, documentation and IFC.
- Producing and coordinating architectural documentation in Revit.
- Managing consultant coordination and resolving technical issues.
- Maintaining design intent, documentation quality and project programme.
- Coordinating drawing packages, details and project information.
- Liaising with clients, consultants and internal project leaders.
- Supporting the project through construction if required, including RFIs, shop drawings and site queries.
We are seeking an experienced Architect with strong technical delivery skills and the ability to take ownership of a project through the documentation process.
Ideally, you will bring:
- 7-12+ years post graduate experience
- Experience working as a Project Architect, Senior Project Architect or equivalent.
- Previous aged care, seniors living, retirement living or healthcare project experience.
- Strong Design Development and documentation experience.
- Advanced Revit proficiency essential.
- Strong consultant coordination and technical detailing skills.
- Experience delivering projects through to IFC.
- Construction phase experience would be highly regarded.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
In the role as a Project Architect / Senior Project Architect, we require you to hold the minimum credentials.
For this position, the following experience is essential:
- Bachelor or Masters in Architecture
- 7-15 years post graduate experience
- Multi-residential, Commercial or healthcare project experience
- Strong architectural project delivery experience
- Advanced Revit proficiency
- Design Development and documentation experience
- Consultant coordination experience
- Strong technical architectural capability
