Complex Major Projects | Revit Essential | Hourly Rate Negotiable
Mega Recruitment is partnering with one of Australia’s leading architectural practices to appoint an experienced Architect or Senior Architect for an immediate project requirement in Perth.
This opportunity is suited to someone who can step into a complex project environment, take ownership of their work and contribute from day one. The studio needs a technically capable Architect with strong Revit skills, recent local experience and a proven background delivering large-scale, complex projects in Australia.
The role is available for an immediate start, and the hourly rate will be discussed openly based on your level of experience, technical capability and previous project exposure.
The Role
You will join an established architectural team working on a significant and technically demanding project.
The position will involve a strong focus on design development, technical resolution, documentation and multidisciplinary coordination. You will be expected to work confidently within a large project team, manage your own responsibilities and produce accurate, coordinated work with minimal supervision.
This is not a role for someone looking to gain their first exposure to major projects. The studio is seeking an experienced Architect who understands the demands of complex project delivery and can quickly adapt to existing systems, standards and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering architectural packages using Revit
- Producing coordinated drawings, details, schedules and documentation
- Contributing across design development, documentation and construction phases
- Resolving complex architectural and technical issues
- Coordinating closely with consultants, contractors and internal disciplines
- Reviewing consultant information and identifying coordination conflicts
- Maintaining project BIM and documentation standards
- Supporting project leaders with programme, quality and delivery requirements
- Responding to RFIs, shop drawings and construction-stage queries
- Attending project, consultant and coordination meetings
- Ensuring documentation is accurate, buildable and aligned with project requirements
- Working effectively within a fast-paced, collaborative project environment
We are currently seeking
You will be an experienced Architect or Senior Architect with approximately 5–15+ years of professional experience and a strong track record working on complex Australian projects.
You must have:
- Current Perth-based availability
- Recent experience working within the Perth or Australian architectural market
- Immediate or near-immediate availability
- Strong and proven Revit capability
- Experience delivering complex, large-scale projects in Australia
- Strong technical, detailing and documentation skills
- Experience working across multiple project phases
- Confidence coordinating with consultants, contractors and project stakeholders
- A sound understanding of Australian construction methods, codes and project delivery processes
- The ability to work independently and contribute immediately
- Full working rights in Australia

Candidates must be able to demonstrate genuine involvement in complex project delivery. Strong Revit skills alone will not be sufficient without recent Australian project experience and the ability to commence immediately.
