Perth-Based | Immediate Start | Major Commercialised Projects
An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced Interior Designer or Senior Interior Designer to join one of Australia’s most highly regarded architectural and interior design studios.
This role will see you contribute to the design and delivery of significant, technically complex interior projects, with a strong focus on commercial workplace, healthcare and other large-scale commercial environments.

We are seeking candidates with approximately 5–12+ years of professional experience who are currently based in Perth, have strong Australian project experience and can confidently hit the ground running within an established project team.
You will join a highly experienced interiors team and work across all phases of project delivery, from concept and design development through to detailed documentation, coordination and construction delivery.
The successful candidate will ideally be available to start immediately or within one to two weeks.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Working across all phases of interior design projects, from concept through to construction
- Producing accurate, coordinated and technically detailed Revit documentation
- Developing interior design packages for complex commercial and healthcare environments
- Supporting projects through design development, documentation and construction phases
- Preparing detailed plans, elevations, sections, schedules and joinery documentation
- Resolving technical, detailing and documentation issues
- Coordinating architectural, interior and consultant information
- Working closely with architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors and project leaders
- Participating in client, consultant and internal project meetings
- Reviewing materials, finishes, fixtures and technical specifications
- Maintaining project BIM, Revit and documentation standards
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality design outcomes within programme and budget requirements
- Assisting with construction-stage queries, shop drawing reviews and site coordination
- Contributing to the successful delivery of complex, large-scale commercial interior projects
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you must:
- Have approximately 5–12+ years of professional interior design experience
- Be currently based in Perth
- Have previous experience working within an Australian architectural or interior design practice
- Demonstrate strong experience delivering complex projects in Australia
- Have advanced and proven Revit capability
- Have experience working across all phases of a project
- Be technically strong and confident producing detailed documentation packages
- Have strong knowledge of interior construction, detailing, materials, finishes and joinery
- Be confident coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders
- Be able to integrate quickly into an established project team
- Be available to commence immediately or within one to two weeks
- Hold full, unrestricted working rights in Australia

Previous healthcare or commercial workplace experience would be highly advantageous. However, candidates with strong technical experience across other complex, commercially focused interior projects are also encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded project background and be comfortable working across the full project lifecycle. While strong design capability is valued, this position requires someone who is particularly confident on the technical side of interior design and can produce accurate, coordinated and buildable documentation.
